Uday Chaitanya Saamala, the visionary founder of Forte9 Engineering R&D Academy (formerly Forte9 Institutional Services), launched his journey in 2013 with the goal of bridging a crucial gap between engineering education and practical, industry-aligned knowledge in Telangana, India. With over a decade of experience in the edu-tech sector, Uday has been dedicated to enhancing hands-on learning experiences for students, enabling them to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications across various engineering disciplines.

Recognizing that up to 70% of engineering students in India lack exposure to practical knowledge—particularly in fields like electrical, mechanical, electronics, and civil engineering—Uday envisioned a platform that would connect college students with industrial settings. This led him to partner with over 150 manufacturing industries in Hyderabad, including sectors like transformer production, CNC machining, electronics, power equipment, construction, interior design, and more. Through Forte9’s partnerships, students have the opportunity to gain immersive experience through short-term internships, typically ranging from 5 to 15 days, which offer direct exposure to industry operations.

Over the years, Forte9 has evolved its services to include cutting-edge projects in academic and industrial domains, such as electric vehicles, drone technology, robotics, IoT, and automation. Uday’s commitment to holistic development led him to establish faculty and student development programs as well, covering not only technical training but also skills in business management, digital marketing, social media, graphic design, entrepreneurship, and career building.

Although COVID-19 briefly halted some activities, Uday and his team continued their research in advanced electronics, automation, embedded systems, and robotics. Today, Forte9 is a recognized platform where Uday and his team lead the development of real-time projects for industry applications while actively supporting students in building their own academic projects. Through this continued dedication, Uday is paving the way for future engineers to become well-rounded professionals, ready to tackle the challenges of an evolving technical landscape.
